I-70 eastbound reopens at Vail Pass, Glenwood Canyon

UPDATE, 1:38 p.m.: Glenwood Canyon has reopened
UPDATE, 12:59 p.m.: Eastbound I-70 over Vail Pass has reopened due to improving conditions.
VAIL — Snowy conditions have closed eastbound Interstate 70 at both ends of Eagle County on Friday.
Eastbound I-70 is closed at mile marker 180 due to adverse weather conditions as of 12:03 p.m.
Eastbound I-70 is also closed through Glenwood Canyon as of 12:42 p.m.
In addition, eastbound U.S. Highway 24 over Battle Mountain is closed to commercial vehicles as of 12:42 p.m.
The Vail area is under a Winter Storm Watch through Saturday morning. Up to a foot of snow is expected.
