‘I Heart My Block!’ workshop

The yoga master B.K.S. Iyengar said you should practice with a block for at least the first 10 years of your yoga practice. And yet, many practitioners never even consider using one.
Learn how to incorporate blocks into your practice during an hour and a half workshop at Revolution Power Yoga in Eagle-Vail on Tuesday. All levels are welcome, whether you are new to yoga or an advanced practitioner.
“The block can be like a yoga toy; it is there to make your practice more fun and accessible,” yoga instructor Tracy Long said. “This workshop will explore how to use these colorful pieces of styrofoam to deepen your practice, create support, extend your edge, challenge your balance and encourage a sense of playfulness.”
Long is a certified Baptiste power yoga teacher, spin instructor, chocolate chip cookie lover and lifelong athlete. Her love for transforming lives through yoga shines through in every class she teaches.
