Idaho Springs man fined for killing bull elk
GOLDEN, Colorado ” An Idaho Springs man found guilty of illegally killing a bull elk has been ordered to pay a $10,000 fine and has had 15 points assessed against his hunting license.
A Jefferson County District Court judge sentenced 27-year-old Larry C. Losch on Wednesday. Losch had been convicted on a misdemeanor charge of aggravated illegal possession of wildlife during a two-day trial last month.

Losch was the only suspect to go to trial. The others, 23-year-old John Keith Johnson of Idaho Springs, and two men from Illinois, pleaded guilty to the same charge.
They were each ordered to pay $10,000 fines.
