In Denver, life as usual despite security warnings
DENVER – Coloradans and tourists say they’re aware of new security warnings associated with the terror probe based in Colorado and New York City. But they say they’re determined to live their lives without fear.
U.S. officials have issued bulletins about terrorists’ desire to attack mass transit systems, stadiums, entertainment complexes and hotels. Officials say they know of no specific plots but are urging vigilance.
Forty-five-year-old Julie May lives in London and says terrorists bulletins are a way of life for her. She says she’s not particularly worried as she visits Colorado, Utah and Arizona on vacation. And others echoed that sentiment during a round of interviews in Denver on Tuesday.
