Intro to meditation workshop in Edwards Sunday

Elena Georgouses will lead an introductory meditation workshop at Dogma Athletica in Edwards on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
In this two-hour workshop participants will be introduced to the practice of mindfulness meditation and walking mediation. There will be group discussion about the benefits of incorporating meditation into daily life, 10 minutes a day.
Georgouses has more than 25 years of experience with mediation. She has taught meditation to all ages of people in a wide variety of settings.
More and more people are turning to mediation as a means to improve the quality of their lives. Some research has found that mediation reduces stress, improves health, reduces symptoms of depression and anxiety, enhances focus and performance and generally increases well being.
