Investing column debuts Thursday
If you’ve ever wanted to get some good pointers on investing, here’s your chance.Starting Thursday and then running every Thursday in the Daily’s business section, look for “Investing Wisely,” by Richard Loth.”It’s more educational than advice,” Loth said. “The idea is to provide people with impartial, practical advice they can apply to personal investing.”Loth owns Vail-based Mentor Investing and is a registered investment adviser. He’s also authored several books on investing, including “Select Winning Stocks Using Financial Statements,” “The Annual Report Glossary,” and “How to Profit from Reading Annual Reports.”Loth also has significant international banking experience in Latin America, Africa and the Far East, with Fleet National Bank, Citibank and the Bank of Montreal.
