Jackson boy falls from Snow King chairlift
JACKSON, Wyo. – A Jackson boy who fell more than 30 feet from a ski lift at Snow King Resort was listed in stable condition with no broken bones at a Salt Lake City hospital.
Blaize Oswald, 7, fell 30 to 40 feet from a chair Wednesday, officials said.
Two ski patrol officials responded immediately to the accident, Jackson Hole Fire Battalion Chief Mike Moyer said.
“They were to him in less than a minute. They had him breathing and responding right away,” said Carrie Pennington, executive director of the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club.
The boy skis for the club. He was taken to St. John’s Medical Center in Jackson for preliminary tests before being taken to a hospital in Salt Lake City.
