Jade from Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros plays in Avon
AVON – Jade, from Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, plays Agave in Avon on Thursday, along with Mike Musick and The Saint James Band. Doors open at 9 p.m., and music starts at 10 p.m.Jade is best known for her vocals on the smash hit song “Home,” which she co-wrote and performed with Alex Ebert, of the indie rock sensation Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros. Jade has appeared on every major late-night show with Edward Sharpe, including Conan O’Brien, David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel. The band was also featured in Rolling Stone magazine, as well as Ford and NFL commercials. Selling out some of the biggest festivals such as Bonnaroo and Coachella, the band played to millions of fans worldwide. Jade’s unforgettable and heart-lifting vocals can be heard on tunes such as “Home,” “Fire Water (River of Love)” and “Janglin.” At her solo performances, Jade delivers her biggest hits, as well as material from her solo project, due to be released in 2012.
