Jerry Seinfeld and Carol Leifer entertain Vail audiences

VAIL, Colorado The Vail Symposium, in partnership with BNai Vail Congregation, announce the winter seasons final presentation of The Live from New Yorks 92nd Street Y Program at the Vail Interfaith Chapel. Jerry Seinfeld moderates a conversation with Carol Leifer at 6 p.m. Tuesday.Leifer is an Emmy Award-winning writer, stand up comedienne and producer. She has helped to create some of Americas best known comedy shows on television including Seinfeld, Rules of Engagement, The Larry Sanders Show, Saturday Night Live and The Ellen Show. Leifer just released her first book titled, When You Lie About Your Age, The Terrorists Win, a laugh out loud look at love, life, family and aging. The book explores the drastic changes in lifestyle that she experienced upon turning 40.Leifer is presumed to be the inspiration behind Elaine Benes character in the sitcom, Seinfeld. Legendary comedian, writer and actor Jerry Seinfeld is a long-time friend, former boyfriend and colleague of Leifer which will be sure to spark an interesting conversation.The Live from New Yorks 92nd Street Y Programs are live satellite broadcasts from New York to our community. BNai Vail hosts the 92nd Street Y programs, which are talks with powerful speakers on a variety of gripping national and global topics. The program is free to the community.

Other panelists include: Cornell Universitys Stuart L. Hart, an authority on the implications of sustainable development and environmentalism for business strategy; H. Fisk Johnson, CEO and chairman of the board of S.C. Johnson & Son; and Ratan N. Tata, chairman of Tata Sons Limited, the holding company of the Tata Group, Indias largest conglomerate.
