Daily Staff Report
Vail, CO Colorado

EAGLE COUNTY ” The Jewish Learning Institute will open a branch in the Vail Valley this fall.

The institute offers traditional Jewish instruction for adults.

“The Jewish Learning Institute allows you to explore basic Jewish ideas, to share critical analysis and intensive discussion with exciting instructors and classmates,” said Rabbi Dovid Mintz, chairman of the institute’s local committee.

The program begins with “Soul Maps” in November, continues with “You Be The Judge II” in February 2009 and concludes with “Biblical Reflections” in May 2009.

The first course, Soul Maps, is a six-step program focused on psychology, using the Kabbalah to help participants understand themselves and find inner contentment, Mintz said.

The course will be presented in Vail, at the Chabad Jewish Center, on six consecutive Tuesdays, beginning Nov. 11. The course will also be available in Edwards, at the Inn at Riverwalk, on six consecutive Wednesdays, beginning Nov. 12.
