SNOWMASS VILLAGE — Jim Cotter, the owner and artist behind J. Cotter Gallery in Vail and Beaver Creek, will be teaching a workshop on casting at Anderson Ranch Arts Center located in Snowmass Village from Monday through Friday. Located just 15 minutes from Aspen, Anderson Ranch has served as the artistic and cultural hub of the town of Snowmass Village. Alexander Young, J. Cotter Gallery’s studio director, will be assisting Cotter with his workshop.
Cotter was instrumental in developing the Summer Vail art workshops in Vail in the 1970s and is using his expertise to develop Anderson Ranch’s metal-smithing program. For more information about Anderson Ranch, please visit http://www.Anderson Ranch.org.
J. Cotter Gallery’s founder Jim Cotter is widely recognized throughout the jewelry and art fields as an innovator.
