Juggling bowling balls, fiery torches and more in Beaver Creek
BEAVER CREEK, Colorado – International juggling champion Mark Nizer brings his one-man show to the stage at the Vilar Performing Arts Center (VPAC) in Beaver Creek for two performances on Monday at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Nizer seems to make the impossible possible. He juggles everything from bowling balls to propane torches to electric carving knives, all with a unique wit and panache. The experience is taken to another dimension by Nizer’s use of 3D technology. Donning special glasses, the audience is treated to illusions, laser sequences and other 3D effects.Creating new ways to delight and entertain his audiences is at the heart of Nizer’s mission. His invention of the Laser Diablo merges juggling, light and technology. Imagine four lasers being juggled, with the spinning laser beams dancing just above the audience’s heads. The performer’s fancy feats of juggling are a combination of old ideas, new ideas and updates of all-time popular juggling tricks with a modern-day twist. Tickets for the show are $32 for children and $42 for adults and are available at vilarpac.org, by phone at 888-920-ARTS(2787) or in person at the VPAC Box Office in Beaver Creek or Marketplace Box Office in Vail Village.
