K2 recalls 2,500 snowboard bindings
About 2,500 pairs of K2 Auto series snowboard bindings with model year 2007, manufactured in China and distributed by K2 Sports. The bindings were recalled because the cable that attaches it to the toe strap can break, posing a risk of falls.
No injuries have been reported. The bindings were sold by snowboard, ski and sporting goods shops around the country between August 2007 and May 2008.
