The J. Cotter Galleries in Beaver Creek and Vail are showcasing Kent Raible’s work, with a variety of the artist’s pieces on special display throughout the month of February.
Since 1971, Raible has continuously worked with and studied the history of precious metals and has become one of America’s preeminent studio goldsmiths. Inspired by the intricate and opulent gold work of antiquity, his contemporary art pieces are often created with techniques that have been in use for thousands of years using relatively simple tools.
Raible’s dedication to his craft has earned him international recognition through awards, museum acquisitions and commissions. His one-of-a-kind masterworks, as well as his Studio Collection, of designer jewelry are available through fine-art galleries and jewelry stores across the United States.
Raible’s designs can be found at J. Cotter Gallery locations in Vail and Beaver Creek year-round, but select pieces will be showcased for the month of February. J. Cotter Galleries are located in Vail on Wall Street and in Beaver Creek Village on Market Square. Visit http://www.jcottergallery.com to learn more.
