Keystone discounts ski passes for troops

KEYSTONE – For the third consecutive year, Keystone Resort is selling discounted ski passes to active U.S. military personnel and their family members.The Liberty Pass is $129 for adults, $79 for children for unlimited skiing at Keystone and Arapahoe Basin from the date of purchase through Keystone’s closing date, tentatively set for April 16. Vail Resorts also is selling a $45 single-day lift ticket for active U.S. military and immediate family members at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone.The Liberty Pass is on sale at the Keystone Resort season pass office in River Run Village, in several Front Range retail shops (REI in Fort Collins and Colorado Springs and the Colorado Ski and Golf store in Colorado Springs), at several military bases and at a select number of military special events throughout the state (Buckley AFB, Peterson AFB, Schriever AFB, F.E. Warrne AFB, Fort Carson and the Airforce Academy). Active U.S. military personnel (active duty and reserve military personnel, as well as active National Guard) must present their military-issued identification card in person to purchase their pass for themselves and for their immediate family members.
