Keystone first Vail Resorts mountain to open

KEYSTONE ” The 2007-2008 ski season started today at 9 a.m., a week earlier than expected, thanks to snowmaking and more than two feet of snow this fall.

Keystone, the first Vail Resorts mountain to open, lets skiers and snowboards ride its A51 terrain park, the intermediate Spring Dipper ruin and the Kokomo beginner’s area.

The mountain will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

U.S. Ski Team athletes and coaches will begin training at Keystone Saturday. And next week the resort will offer
