Daily Staff Report
Vail CO, Colorado

KEYSTONE, Colorado – On Friday, Jan. 4, Keystone Resort opened its SuperPipe in the A51 Terrain Park. This year the SuperPipe will be 450-feet long and feature 18-foot walls.

Keystone received a record-setting snowfall in December 2007 and with all of the fresh snow, the SuperPipe is in prime condition for skiers and riders to start off the New Year with epic shredding in the Pipe.

The Keystone A51 Terrain Park has been included in the top-10 terrain parks in the country according to both TransWorld Snowboarding Magazine and Freeskier Magazine.

This year, the SuperPipe has been moved down the hill and closer to the lift to give skiers and riders more laps through the park.

A51 is also open for night jibbing at Keystone. It is Colorado’s largest and only night park. Upcoming events in the A51 Terrain Park include:

Keystone Video Rail Jam

Skiers and riders compete in the A51 Video Rail Jam for a chance to win one of four 42″ flat-screen TVs to the best male and female skiers and boarders.

Location: A51 Terrain Park, Keystone Resort
