Kick off the holiday season this weekend in Eagle
Vail, CO Colorado
Kick off the holiday season by attending a Winter Market and Holiday Fair today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Eagle River Center at the Eagle County Fairgrounds in Eagle.
“The Winter Market has been going on for years, so when the Eagle Valley Chamber of Commerce offered to let us take the event over this year, we knew it was a good fit for the community and our listeners,” said Holli Snyder, general manager of NRC Presents. NRC Presents, together with NRC Broadcasting and the Eagle Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event.
Local artisans and businesses are selling handmade ornaments, Christmas items, art work, jewelry, food, goodies, decor and more. Not only will shoppers find many holiday items in one spot, but Santa will arrive around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and will remain at the fair to take Christmas requests until 1:30 p.m. A professional photographer will be on hand for pictures. The Battle Mountain Music Department will perform after Santa’s visit. Throughout the fair hours, children will have plenty to do while parents shop. There will be balloon animals, an arts and crafts booth and face painting available.
