Kickball Classic looks for local beneficiaries
AVON — The Evans Chaffee Construction Group is looking for beneficiaries for its 12th annual Kickball Classic.
This event is scheduled for Aug. 17 and is a fundraiser for local organizations serving women and children who need health and human services. Previous beneficiaries include CASA, Meet the Wilderness, the Vail Valley Charitable Fund, Small Champions and Food Rescue Express.
Nomination letters must explain how the organization benefits women and children in Eagle County and how the organization could benefit by being part of this fundraiser.
Responses should be limited to 150 words or less. Organization must be able to describe how the funds will be used and document a valid need for additional resources, money, supplies or volunteers.
Nominations are due by Friday, and should be submitted to Evans Chaffee Construction Group, Attn.: Fundraiser Nominations, PO Box 8266, Avon, CO 81620.

Vail Valley businesses and individuals can organize kickball teams of eight to 12 people. All the money goes to the designated beneficiary.
