Kids can watch and make puppets at Vail library

VAIL, Colorado –Six free afternoons of puppet shows and puppet making are scheduled at the Vail library in the coming weeks.

The shows are from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and start today with “The Hungry Leprechaun.” The “Hungry Leprechaun” also will be shown Wednesday and Friday. On April 5, 7 and 9, the feature will be “The Paper Bag Princess.”

These are 40- minute shows followed by a puppet-making, with supplies and instruction provided. Parents are welcome and children under six must be accompanied by an adult.

“This program is for families and young children,” says Lori A. Barnes, town librarian.
