Kids invited to go ‘on assignment’ in Beaver Creek

Daily staff report
Beaver Creek, CO Colorado

BEAVER CREEK, Colorado – From 3:30-6 p.m. Friday, children are invited to shine for the camera during Camp Hyatt On Assignment, a one-day contest at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek to find a kid journalist to go “on assignment” and report on activities at Camp Hyatt.

During the event, kids ages 6-12 will have the chance to film a one- to two-minute submission video detailing why they would like to experience Camp Hyatt at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek and which activities they would enjoy most and why. There will be one winner, and the kid with the most creative and entertaining video will win an overnight stay at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek for themselves and three guests and their own Camp Hyatt experience.

Before coming to the event, kids and their parents are encouraged to visit http://www.CampHyatt.com to learn about the activities available at each participating resort. For example, during the summertime at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, Camp Hyatt adventures include wall climbing, miniature golf, jumping on a bungee trampoline, swimming, making Native American Rain sticks, roasting marshmallows and telling stories by the fire pit and catching a movie.

Complete entry details are available at http://www.camphyattonassignment.com.

Camp Hyatt offers children ages 3-12 activities at participating Hyatt Resorts in North America. Camp Hyatt features exclusive National Geographic Kids’ activities adapted to each participating resort location, with a focus on teaching kids about animals, culture, recycling and water.
