Vail, CO Colorado

VAIL, Colorado “-A group of kids who have survived cancer or who are being treated for the disease will ski and snowboard in Vail, Colorado Saturday with Olympic freestyle skier Jeremy Bloom.

The free trip will begin at Denver Children’s Hospital and is organized by a nonprofit organization called Rise Above It.

“RAI is doing something that is near and dear to my heart; allowing individuals who may not have the money or the resources to enjoy the moments in life that make the fight a little easier,” said Bloom, who has been training with U.S. Freestyle Ski Team since November 2008.

Bloom recently launched his foundation, Jeremy Bloom’s Wish of a Lifetime, a Colorado-based nonprofit that aims to enrich the lives of low-income seniors by granting them the wish of a lifetime.

This event is sponsored by MyLifeLine.org, DigiComm International, Inc., Vail Sports, Jeremy Bloom’s Wish of a Lifetime, Vail Resorts, Arrow Stage Lines, and a host of individual contributors.
