Lamb cook-off a hit at Taste of Vail

VAIL – More than 3,000 people attended the first-ever Taste of Vail Lamb Cook-Off Wednesday, which raised $10,000 for various Vail Valley charities.

Valley chefs competed for prizes in Vail Village, cooking up several different lamb recipes. Attendees could purchase samples of lamb for $1 and tastes of wine for $2. Celebrity judges, including our own Managing Editor Don Rogers, tasted and selected who they thought was the most talented chef and recipe.
