EDWARDS — Larkburger, the Colorado-grown burger restaurant, is giving a nod to the things that make living in Colorado great: craft beer, skiing and, of course, good food. Along with native Colorado companies Oskar Blues Brewery and Icelantic Skis, the burger restaurant is sponsoring the Loving Larkburger Sweepstakes, which kicks off today, National Cheeseburger Day, and continues through Oct. 16.

“Coloradans are passionate people — about the mountains, craft beer, the outdoors and burgers,” president Adam Baker said. “These things define Colorado, and we wanted to pay homage to Colorado’s personality with the Loving Larkburger Sweepstakes. What better way to do so then by pairing up with two outstanding Colorado companies?”

Enter the sweepstakes by going to http://www.larkburger.com/entertowin to register. Winners will be announced in mid-October. From the drawing, 50 winners will get a burger and Oskar Blues brew at Larkburger, and 12 runners-up will receive a VIP tour of Oskar Blues Brewery in Longmont. One grand prize winner will be awarded a pair of custom, handmade Icelantic skis and a $500 Larkburger for a Year gift certificate.

“Colorado is home to an incredible collection of likeminded and passionate companies like Larkburger and Oskar Blues. Icelantic is thrilled to structure a partnership with these awesome companies focusing on promoting Colorado culture,” Icelantic’s Sam Warren said.

Icelantic’s sleek Nomad skis — made with a poplar wood core for durability, strength and pop and strategically layered with fiberglass for rigidity — will be awarded to the lucky grand prize winner.
