Latest master plan milestone News News | Jun 21, 2017 Vail Valley Medical Center recently opened a new pre-op and post-anesthesia care suite, the latest milestone in the hospitalâs master facility plan. The 9,072 square foot space ensures the proper accommodations for surgeons, support staff, patients and their family members. The unit is located on the third floor of the west wing just next to Vail Valley Surgery Center and was designed with a focus on patient-centered care. Nursing stations are positioned to provide a clear line of sight to all patients, and patient rooms have been expanded to improve privacy and allow for family members and caregivers at the bedside. In addition, the spectacular views of Vail Mountain promote a healing environment.
