EAGLE — Comedy Night at the Bowlmor returns to The Back Bowl in Eagle on Saturday at 8 p.m., with the return performance of Miller Lite Comedy champion Chris Voth.

Voth is no stranger to The Back Bowl stage. Way back in 2007, he was one of the first chosen by Denver’s Comedy Works to bring live stand-up to the newly conceived Comedy Night at the Bowlmor. This will be his sixth appearance and the first in over two years.

Like your typical renaissance man-cum-comic, Voth is an accomplished comedian, a licensed teacher and a published author. Perhaps the only thing that eclipsed his passion for working with young people in the classroom was his intense love for making people laugh. It was this drive, along with his much heralded talent, that earned him multiple appearances on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.”

He has appeared in three seasons — twice as a finalist — of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” He was also chosen for the prestigious Great American Comedy Festival and took top honors at Denver’s Comedy Works Competition.

He continues to hone his craft by working clubs around the country both as a headliner and as an opening act for some of today’s premier names in stand-up, including: Kevin Nealon, Dave Chappelle, Dana Carvey, Tommy Chong, Larry the Cable Guy and many more.

He offers a unique perspective on relationships, and his razor sharp wit leaves audiences clutching their sides with laughter. He also happens to have a reputation for “clean” shows, which has made Voth’s routines appealing to wide-ranging crowds wherever he goes and making him one of top draws at the Comedy Works.

Opening this final show of Comedy Night’s winter season is the very quirky Nathan Lund. Lund has made the rounds as both a headliner and opener at clubs and comedy festivals throughout the region. Already known as one of the hottest comics on Denver’s highly competitive comedy scene, this is his debut appearance at The Back Bowl.

Tickets are on sale now for $15 in advance and $18 on the day of the show. Groups of eight or more can take advantage of special pricing. Tickets can be purchased in person at The Back Bowl or by phone with a credit card. For more information, contact Bowlmor Lounge at The Back Bowl at 970-328-BOWL or visit
