Law firm adds new partner in Eagle County
Vail, CO Colorado
EAGLE COUNTY, Colorado – Local law firm Thompson Brownlee, LLC announced Monday the addition of Tyler “T.J.” Voboril as its newest litigation partner.
To the boutique firm, Voboril brings considerable experience handling business, real estate, construction, employment, and homeowners’ association disputes on behalf of a wide variety of business entities and individuals throughout Colorado. Voboril moved to the Vail Valley in 2009, but has been litigating in state and federal court and before arbitrators in addition to representing clients in mediation since first being licensed in 2005.
This rising star of the local legal community was most recently in the headlines for defending a national title insurance company at the trial level and before the Colorado Court of Appeals in the published case of Sifton v. Stewart Title Guaranty Co.
“T.J. is the total package for us, and we are thrilled that he has decided to join our growing litigation practice in Eagle and Summit counties,” said firm co-founder Michael Brownlee.
Beyond his proficiency as a hired gun, Brownlee points out that T.J. has a passion for making justice accessible for his community, as “he volunteers as a mediator with the Eagle County small claims court and devotes a percentage of his practice to helping those who cannot afford a lawyer.”
Along with his experience, the new partner also brings an impressive academic resume to the Vail Valley firm. After graduating from Dartmouth College in 2002 with an A.B., cum laude, in geography, T.J. received his law degree from the University Of Virginia School Of Law in 2005. He first practiced large-scale commercial and securities litigation at a mid-sized firm in Atlanta before moving to Colorado and serving as a litigator at a small and busy law firm in Vail.
When not working, Voboril can be found out and about in the valley with his wife, Lauren, and infant daughter, Violet. Thompson Brownlee LLC is on the Web at http://www.thompsonbrownlee.com.
