Leads in Greeley missing girl case top 240

GREELEY, Colorado – Authorities in Greeley have received more than 240 leads in the case of a missing 12-year-old girl.

Kayleah Wilson Kayleah Wilson was last seen on the afternoon of March 28 when she left home to walk to a friend’s birthday party. Police stopped vehicles Sunday afternoon around the time Kayleah was last seen, asking motorist if they had noticed anything the week before. A search of ponds and a wooded, undeveloped area on Saturday hasn’t turned up any sign of Kayleah, who weighs 145 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. Police Sgt. Joe Tymkowych said authorities were also searching residential areas near her home, including one that wouldn’t have been on her way to the birthday party. Police don’t know if Kayleah was abducted or may have run away.
