Left Foot Green returns to Avon Saturday
VAIL CO, Colorado
On a frigid February night, the members of Left Foot Green were sitting on the side of I-70 waiting for their punk rock van Simon to cool down enough to make it another mile up the hill. Returning from another amazing night at Loaded Joe’s in Avon, the LFG crew was full of excitement and adrenaline from another great show. The fact that they had no heat and had a temperamental van did not deter them from their excitement.
“Loaded Joe’s is by far one of the craziest places we play,” said Brad Jones, guitar player. “The crowd is full of so much energy and intensity. The fist pumping kids make us feel right at home.”
The Boulder band returns to Loaded Joe’s Saturday night. The show will begin around 9 p.m. and there is no cover.
The band will release a new EP this summer and plan to tour across the U.S. in support of the record.
Armed with new tunes and a killer sound the group plans to make Loaded Joe’s a priority spot during all tours.
Harmony Greenhalgh, the band’s violinist, said: “Loaded Joe’s is by far my favorite venue when we tour…I can’t get enough of their chai tea. Oh…and the people that work there take such good care of us. It’s so cool to know they make us feel more like close friends than just the band.”
