AVON — Ski legends from the 1950s through the present will be special guests during Après Avon, a spectacular event taking place each day after the races of the FIS 2015 Alpine World Ski Championships (AWSC). The free, 12-day concert and street fair will be from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Notable ski industry legends will welcome fans to the excitement of the post-race activities for a meet and greet and autograph signing Wednesday and Saturday at the Après Avon “Special Guest” tent.

WEDNESDAY

Ski Legends “Special Guests” include:

• Trygve Berge and Sigurd Rockne, founders of Breckenridge ski area

• CJ Muller, the fastest man on skis

• Jon Kreamelmeyer, Paralympic coach

• Mike Brown, Vail native, member of the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Disabled Ski Team coach

• Harry Frampton former president of Vail Associates, Inc.

• Sara Will, record setting Paralympic medalist and current ski instructor for Vail

• Cindy Nelson, Olympic and World Champion skier

SATURDAY

Ski Legends “Special Guests” include:

• Barbara Ferries Henderson, former U.S. Ski Team member and World Ski Championship downhill medalist

• Trygve Berge and Sigurd Rockne, founders of Breckenridge ski area

• CJ Mueller, the fastest man on skis

• Jon Kreamelmeyer, Paralympic coach

• Mike Brown, Vail native, member of the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Disabled Ski Team coach

• Moose Barrows, former U.S. Ski Team member and World Cup downhill medalist

• Scott Henderson, former member and coach of the Canadian National Ski Team

• Sarah Will, record-setting Paralympic medalist and current ski instructor for Vail
