Letter: Enough of the partisanship
As we near the end for the most disastrous national administration ever elected by citizens of this country, I hope only that the wounds heal between blues and reds, liberals and conservatives and all those other polar positions the media and panderers find convenient in goading us into as they ply the politics of divide and conquer.
Because I am neither a registered Democrat nor Republican, both parties have inundated me with “questionaires” asking me to answer and support their positions, which are always couched in black-and-white terms. This is the kind of thinking that has given us a bipolar nation.
Isn’t it time for us to use our common sense? That is, the sense that is common to all of us as Americans?
