Letter: Farmers market size standoff
I am organizing a weekend of activities for some friends this summer and am bothered by some conflicting self-proclamations being made regarding summer farmers markets. We have a few large markets every summer and two of them in particular claim to be the largest:Minturn Market: Today, more than 125 vendors and 45,000 people attend the Minturn Market, making this weekly outdoor event the largest farmers market in Colorados Rocky Mountains. Source: http://www.minturnmarket.org/index.html.Vail Farmers Market & Art Show: .largest farmers market in Colorado. Source: http://vail.snow.com/summerhome.asp#d=july|c=vailfarmersmarket|a=ae|b=calendarofevents.Which one is the largest in the Rocky Mountains, if either one is? Are there larger ones in Colorado?
