Letter: Opponent of Minturn project lacks credibility
Vail CO, Colorado
Let me get this straight. Mr. Frank Lorenti spoke to the Minturn Town Council on nine separate occasions and never once addressed the Ginn issue? Now he wants to have a town vote because on his Web site he said the council didn’t listen to him? What a load! Mr. Lorenti wasn’t disenfranchised, he was disinterested.
When Councilwoman Bellm brought that up in her letter he screams that he is being personally attacked. If he expects that the town is going to use my tax dollars to hold this vote then it is a reasonable question and he needs to answer it. If he had nine opportunities and never took one of them, how was he disenfranchised? That is fair to ask and Mr. Lorenti needs to answer or his whole reason for this vote falls apart.
