Letter: Vail sells itself cheap

As if the Visa problem were not enough. Vail has single-handedly sold itself out by offering a cheap pass. No longer will people aspire to work for the mountain to be able to ski or ride any time they want. No longer will the five-mountain pass be the crown jewel of Vail for people who will commit to slaving 40+ hours for the good of snow.

Wake up Vail Resorts. Your captive audience is going to disappear. All the destination guests will have no one to cook their organic burgers because they will all work for a T-shirt shop. Who suffers?
