Letters: Homestead sidewalk is great!
Vail CO, Colorado
I wanted to share a story with you all about wonderful customer service I received today.
I went to my car to put some materials in there for a meeting tonight and noticed my car tire was low on air. A quick inspection revealed a monster screw stuck in the tread. I called Charlie at Vail Discount Tires. He said leave it in and bring the car by. I did just that. Luckily I made it there before the air ran out.
They not only patched my punctured tire but also rotated my four tires (front to back) all within 40 minutes. When I went to pay. They said, “No charge, you bought the tires here and we want to keep our customers happy.” Wow ” you just don’t get that kind of service everyday. The fix wasn’t part of a warranty either.
I highly recommend that if you have any tire or wheel issues, call Charlie at Vail Discount Tires in Eagle-Vail. You will be a customer for life.

Gypsum Animal Hospital thanks
It has been six months since we opened the doors at the Gypsum Animal Hospital and we wanted to throw out some well-needed thank yous. The amount of support we have received from the Gypsum and Eagle communities has been overwhelming and we are so grateful to be here and for the open-arms welcome we have received. Thanks goes to the Town of Gypsum for your support and help in getting this vast project completed; I know all you probably ever hear are complaints so, thanks!
Thanks also to the Gypsum Fire Department for helping set up our alarms to ensure hospitalized patients will be evacuated in an emergency. Thanks to all of you who have taken the time to stop by and/or call with your input as we continue to fine-tune our hours of operation and services we provide; we welcome your suggestions on how to better serve our wonderful pet-friendly community.
And finally, thank you to all the people in the Gypsum and Eagle communities who have welcomed us; you have no idea!
How nice it is to constantly be told how glad you are to have us here and how much you enjoy the new animal hospital.

Thanks for the sidewalk
We just wanted to say a huge thanks to the cooperative efforts of Eagle County, Edwards Metro District and Homestead’s Owners Association for the completion of the sidewalk on Homestead Drive.
We ride our bikes to school almost every day on this new sidewalk and it is great! It is nice to see such cooperation achieve such a wonderful thing for the community.
