Letters to the editor
Various front groups of the PLO have received over $200 million in the past year from the current administration. Added on to that, the president and his administration announced a $23-plus million gift to the Palestinian administration. Is there some distorted reason to keep giving terrorists more and more money that is being used to kill and maim Israeli citizens? The message here is give more money and they will come to their senses or keep on killing. Take your pick. These funds are being used to spew Jew hating filth on PLO radio and teaching young children how to hate. Anything humanitarian there? The PLO and its branches are part of the whole anti-American movement by the Islamic world, and we are helping to fund it. Israel is just a stepping stone to what their real plans are. A new Palestinian state will be a jumping off point for Al Qaeda, not a progressive step forward to a democratic Palestine.Giving such people the resources to do more than just dance over the murder of 3,000 Americans is a policy that should be discontinued.Arthur KittayEagleExtravaganzaWe at the Eagle Valley Chamber of Commerce would like to take this opportunity to thank every one who helped make this year’s 2004 Extravaganza a success.
