Shadow governmentHaving read Matt Zalaznick and Alex Miller’s article on militarism in America, and Col. Kirk’s response letter, I wanted to add some historic information and my opinion regarding the power of the military-industrial complex, which is controlled by a “shadow” government that is even more powerful than the president and Congress. I have an extensive background in history, and military history, and will always respect the sacrifices made by the men and women of our military services. I also have had a number of UFO sightings over the years – yes, I’ve seen flying saucers and have been compiling a history on this subject. The UFO evidence shows that UFOs are extraterrestrial in origin and there is a shadow government that can control the press, Congress, and even the president on this matter. When I went looking for this shadow government, I did not have to look far. Historic researchers-conspiracy theorists have written volumes on powerful international groups like the Bilderberg, the Trilateral Commission, and in the U.S. the Council on Foreign Relations. Many believe that these groups are controlled by a secret society known as the Illuminati, of which The Order of The Skull & Bones figures prominently. Also involved are the secretive Freemasons, which serve as a recruiting ground for the Illuminati. The Illuminati also control the Muslim Brotherhood, a secretive organization that is the father of Al Qaida, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other terrorist organizations. Bin Laden and other top terrorist leaders were members of this group. The Illuminati, through the Council on Foreign Relations and with the help of these other groups, have been the shadow government that has directed the course of our history over the last 100 years or so. Many important and powerful figures within and without our government have belonged to these groups. President Franklin Roosevelt, himself a 33rd-level Mason, once said, “In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happened, you can bet it was planned that way.” So was it by accident or plan that all of the top military chiefs of staff during World War II – Marshall, King and Arnold – were Masons, along with Gen. Douglas MacArthur and others like Vice President Harry Truman and Roosevelt’s top science adviser, Vannevar Bush. Secretary of War Henry Stimson was a member of the Skull & Bones. Virtually every secretary of state and defense, and every director of the CIA since the end of World War II has been a member of one or more of these groups. Moreover, many of the chiefs of staff and top military and intelligence people belong to these groups, too. Longtime FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover was a 33rd-level Mason who investigated the Kennedy assassination for LBJ, another Mason. Of the seven members of the Warren Commission, three were Masons, one Skull & Bones, and two CFR members. This doesn’t happen by chance. It happens by design. These people, this shadow government, our warrior caste, have instigated conflict for profit and have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep both hot and cold wars going. They believe in the Hegelian philosophy that human conflicts results in compromise that advance civilization to a higher level of order. Conflict can be good and peace not desirable. War can also be profitable. I am not one of these “My country … right or wrong” types anymore. Having lived through the ’50s and ’60s, and having educated myself on subjects such as MK Ultra, a CIA mind-control program; the U-2 Affair, where the CIA wanted the plane shot down; the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba; and Operation Northwoods, a Pentagon plan to get us into war with Cuba that included operatives on our side committing terrorist acts in the U.S. that could be blamed on Castro, I have to question the motives of these people. The Kennedy assassination, the Gulf of Tonkin Incident, the Pentagon Papers, the Iran Contra Affair – I could go on and on – have made me distrust the part of our government, the shadow government, that has caused this. The vast amounts of our tax dollars the shadow government spends with the military each year includes an estimated $40 billion-$80 billion a year that go into black budget Unacknowledged Special Access Projects (USAP) that officially don’t exist but are hidden away somewhere in the military-industrial complex. Area 51 is so secretive that even the president can’t go there. Most of this money is spent on the reverse engineering of alien craft, but much goes to continuing MK Ultra on a massive scale. Search online for “chemtrails” and the HAARP Project. Our shadow government has an even a darker side. They kill people. President Kennedy was not the first, or the last, but he is the best known. Dr. Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy were also killed by them, as was former CIA Director William Colby. They have some of the best killing weapons of modern science at their disposal. They can make it appear you had a heart attack or stroke, or give you a cancer that will slowly kill you. MK Ultra mind control could turn a delusional young man like John Hinckley Jr. into a presidential assassin. The shadow government plans its wars years in advance. A top executive with Fairchild Industries told of attending a secretive meeting where it was revealed there would be turmoil and war in the Persian Gulf area and a war on terrorism. This was in 1977 and in the years that followed, the gulf area destabilized with much help from the Muslim Brotherhood and the Illuminati. This shadow government, our warrior caste that imagines themselves the spiritual descendants of the Knights Templar, is a cancer that is slowly creeping in and destroying the Constitution and our rights and liberties. They wave the flag and ask us to charge their enemies, then sit back with their business buddies and count their profits. Body counts don’t matter to them because they aren’t doing the bleeding and dying. Perhaps one way to put an end to war is to pass a law that states that during wartime all corporations that benefit from a war must give all their profits back to the real U.S. government for benefits for the families of veterans killed or maimed in that war, and to help pay the cost of the war as to ease the burden on the civilian population. Eliminate war profiteering and you just might eliminate war. The shadow government comprise just a small percentage of our population, but they have great power, and as long as they are in power we will keep fighting wars.Bob FiskeVailAn idea for hereAs a renewable energy hobbyist -which the best title I can think of since, even though I send thousands of kilowatt hours per year into the Holy Cross grid using solar and micro-hydro systems, I’m still learning daily about distributed generation technology. However, I came across some information recently that might have application in our area, since as everyone knows, we’re sunnier than Florida, where this program has been pioneered. According to an article in this past month’s issue of Renewable Energy World, a trade press publication, the use of gas and electric water heaters is common in Florida, as it is here. The city of Lakeland has made history by starting, in 1997, a program that allows its citizens to receive “free” hot water while the municipality generates and trades renewable energy credits (RECs) that are generated by the solar water heaters. The program has turned the conventional wisdom in the industry regarding solar water heating on its head since, generally, these units have been viewed as “demand-side” management devices or a way to save energy. But in Lakeland their value also lies in their production – the energy they generate can be translated into RECs which generate hard cash for the city.Lakeland retains ownership of the solar water heating units, measures their energy output at the customer’s meter and sells the credits so generated to offset city general operating costs. Because the city retains ownership of the units, customers and users of the hot water have no up-front costs, though they can opt to eventually purchase the units and accrue RECs themselves, which can be significant, even individually.I mention this in a public forum to stimulate debate. Perhaps our local municipalities, county, our many various taxing districts, the water authority and electric co-op might benefit from a consideration of these Florida programs, if similar were implemented here.Bill Sepmeier
