Libertarian presidential candidate back in Colo.
DENVER, Colorado ” Libertarian Party presidential candidate Bob Barr is returning to Colorado with three campaign stops in Denver.
Barr is scheduled to speak Friday to the South Metro Chamber of Commerce and at the University of Denver. He will also meet with voters at a local bar and grill.
Barr, a one-time Republican who served as a congressman from Georgia, launched his presidential bid at the Libertarian Party’s national convention in Denver in May, beating research scientist Mary Ruwart.
Wayne Allyn Root, who was eliminated in the fifth round, was selected as his vice presidential candidate.
