Linda Johnson benefit set for Friday
Vail, CO Colorado
AVON, Colorado – Linda Johnson’s friends are hosting a benefit to help her pay her mounting medical bills.
Linda and her husband, Jeff, hit some black ice on March 9 as they headed up Vail Pass. The rollover accident broke Linda’s neck in three places and crushed her right hand. So far, she has had seven surgeries on that hand.
The medical bills are piling up, and their friends are pitching in with a benefit to cover some of the costs, help with their day-to-day living expenses and get them a vehicle.
It’s Friday at Montana’s.
Linda moved to the valley in 1988. When she first arrived she worked for the Vail Resort Association for three years, then at the Sandstone Creek Club for 20 years, where she still works.
Montana’s is donating a percentage of the food and drinks and there will be a silent auction.
They’re raffling a mink jacket. It’s worth $5,000 and tickets are $100 each. Tickets are available at Fantasia Furs, Sandstone Creek Club and Inkahoots in Eagle.
The Walker Williams Band is playing and you can dance until your boots wear out in Montana’s upstairs dance hall.
