Local architecture firm K.H. Webb honored

VAIL, Colorado – A home redesigned by local architecture firm K.H. Webb was featured in the most recent issue of LUXE Magazine, a quarterly journal that showcases luxury residential architecture, design, interiors and products.

Several K.H. Webb projects were also featured in the recently published “Perspectives on Design Colorado,” a showcase of the state’s finest architects, homebuilders, landscape architects, interior designers, artisans, craftsmen, and other industry specialists.

“We are very proud to have had a consistent history of homes showcased in leading publications,” said Kyle Webb, principal of K.H Webb. “Each project is unique and has its own personality formed around both the land on which it sits and the owner’s vision.”

LUXE Magazine’s most recent issue features a project that K.H. Webb designed to reinvent a home with repeating gables and an excess of balconies that resulted in a lack of subtlety and relationship with its surroundings. Nicknamed the “the house that yodeled,” this Swiss chalet style home was redesigned to create a palette that responds to the outdoors, using natural materials like acacia wood floors and stone and slate indigenous to the area.
