VAIL — The Vail Chamber and Business Association and Mobloggy will offer a marketing seminar about Small Business Saturday and other seasonal, retail opportunities today from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at The Grand View in the Lionshead parking structure in Vail.

This class is designed to help small businesses and nonprofits in the Vail area learn how they can participate in free, nationally organized promotions, as well as how to create offers that will drive business. The session will cover:

• Registering your small business for Small Business Saturday,

• Selecting the right offer for your ideal audience,

• Creating a quick and effective promotional plan,

• Designing an offer that stands out, especially on mobile,

• Reaching new customers and spreading the word using social media

• Keeping the holiday momentum going through the new year.

Rebecca Ruck, Mobloggy owner, and Katie Nelson, Mobloggy search-engine marketing consultant, will present at the event.
