Lodge at Vail hosts April 8 business forum

Marketing strategies initiated by Vail Resorts and aided by the Vail Local Marketing District and the Commission on Special Events will be discussed during a business forum from 8 to 10 a.m. April 8 at the Lodge at Vail.
The meeting, “Driving Short-Term Sales while Building the Long-Term Vail Brand,” is being hosted by Vail Mountain Marketing and the town of Vail Economic Development Office.
With several activities on the calendar to close the winter season, officials are looking ahead to strategies that will continue Vail’s efforts to attract destination guests all year.
Speakers will include Vail Town Manager Stan Zemler, Vail Mountain Chief Operating Officer Chris Jarnot, Vail Mountain Director of Sales and Marketing Adam Sutner, Vail Commission on Special Events Chair Dave Chapin and Vail Economic Advisory Council member Rob LeVine. The panelists will provide an overview of the Epic Pass, mountain activities, town infrastructure, guest relations, special events and marketing.
