VAIL — Join Jackie Clark and the Vail Public Library for a festive Evening of Engagement on Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the library’s community room. Clark will instruct participants as they create three holiday-inspired seasonal gifts. These seasonal gifts will include a delicious bean soup mix, fragrant potpourri and holiday spice tea bags. You will take home your creations and the skills needed to recreate your gifts at home.
There will be a material fee of $15 per person, and cash or checks will be accepted. Space is limited, so please RSVP to Lori Barnes by calling 970-479-2194 or emailing lbarnes@vailgov.com
ABOUT JACKIE CLARK
Clark is registered with the American Horticultural Therapy Association as a professional horticultural therapist, and she has facilitated programs at the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens for more than 10 years. Horticultural therapy programs provide the following benefits to participants: social, cognitive, physical and emotional as well as relieving stress.

The developmentally disabled, seniors, and the Buddies have been served by Clark’s programs, and her therapeutic horticulture activities for children, such as vegetable and fairy gardening, have also been very popular.
