GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) ” A Grand Junction man has been arrested on charges of ramming a Mesa County sheriff’s patrol car.

The deputy in the car wasn’t hurt.

Twenty-seven-year-old Gesere Q. Henry was arrested early Saturday on suspicion of attempted homicide on a sheriff’s deputy. He also faces charges of attempted vehicular assault, criminal mischief, eluding and other counts.

Sheriff’s Lieutenant Gerry Cowhig says Henry nearly ran over a second deputy.
