Man gets 174 years for sex assault in bathroom
A man convicted of attacking a woman in a public bathroom at a downtown medical campus in 2006 has been sentenced to 174 years in prison.
Forty-three-year-old Luther Hill declined to make a statement when he was sentenced Friday. He was convicted in June of kidnapping, sexual assault, unlawful sexual contact and possession of a controlled substance.
Hill was accused of holding a woman against her will at the Kaiser Permanente medical campus and sexually assaulting her in a bathroom stall Aug. 3, 2006. After the assault, authorities say he asked the woman to smoke crack with him, which she declined.
Prosecutors say he confronted two other women before leaving the area.
