Man has drink while talking to cops
Vail, CO Colorado
EAGLE, Colorado – Eagle Police were called to the Burger King restaurant during the early morning hours of March 13 on a report of an intoxicated customer.
When the officer arrived, he found a man who had been hanging out at the establishment for four hours. He said he was waiting for a ride. The officer noted the man had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol.
The officer told the man he needed to leave the restaurant so the crew could close down for the night. When asked, the man was unable to produce identification. He began ranting about his military service experiences and hauled out a pint of Black Velvet to drink.
Eventually the man told the officer his bag was stashed by a tree. The officer retrieved the bag and found the man’s identification. When he checked his name through dispatch, he found the man had two restraining orders prohibiting him from consuming alcohol.
The man was arrest without incident and taken to the county jail.
