VAIL — Three-time Olympic gold medalist Misty May-Treanor is coming to Vail this Father’s Day weekend, June 19. Misty is bringing her Dream in Gold volleyball camp to Vail as part of the 43rd annual Vail King of the Mountain volleyball tournament, which takes place June 19-21.

May-Treanor was the most prolific defender in the world throughout three straight Olympics with partner to Kerri Walsh-Jennings beginning with her first gold medal in 2004.

The Vail clinic will be the only appearance by May-Treanor in the Rocky Mountain region this year. The clinic itself precedes the junior’s competition at the largest beach doubles volleyball tournament in Colorado, the King of the Mountain, which draws 650 teams to Vail.
