Maya restaurant hosts Mad Hatter Brunch Oct. 25, Day of the Dead costume party Oct. 31
AVON — Maya is giving goblins, ghouls, princesses and superheroes two new opportunities to wear their favorite costume this Halloween season at the Mad Hats & Tea Cups Brunch on Sunday, Oct. 25, and the Day of the Dead Party on Saturday, Oct. 31.
Mad Hats & Tea Cups Brunch
Held from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, Maya’s Mad Hats & Tea Cups Brunch will feature a full brunch buffet with a build-your-own omelet station, tea party pastries, sandwiches and more. Tea service will be available upon request. Maya also will be serving its full breakfast menu, with lunch items available after 11 a.m. Come in your Halloween costume for a 10 percent discount; costumed kids younger than 12 get half off their breakfast.
Enhance your Mad Hats & Tea Cups Brunch with a creative cocktail, including the Cheshire Cat’s Bottomless Mimosa, $12; Mad Hatter Madhattan, $9; Alice’s Gingerly Fiz, $9; Queen Mary, $9; and Rabbit’s Favorite Ale, $7.

Day of the Dead Celebration
Maya will also host a Day of the Dead Party on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The evening will feature a costume contest, door prizes and a drawing for a bottle of Maya’s Casa Herradura Tequila and Tequila Locker storage for a year.
Guests can enjoy Halloween cocktails and a limited happy-hour menu while dancing the night away to Colorado party band Potcheen, known for mixing Celtic Rock, bluegrass, ska, folk and Americana music for a high-energy show.
