VAIL — The greatest gifts we can give to ourselves and others this holiday season are those of generosity, forgiveness, loving-kindness and gratitude. Join local instructor Karen Anderson on Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Aria Yoga Studio at the Vail Cascade for a workshop exploring these themes.
“Kindness and forgiveness cause us to feel open-hearted and contented,” Anderson said. “Generosity and gratitude bring joy to ourselves and others. Instead of waiting for these qualities to arise, we can actively cultivate these qualities in our hearts and minds.”
Heart meditations are traditional practices designed to uncover and wake up qualities that exist in everyone. Through alternating periods of conversation and meditation, this workshop will show through direct experience how one quality of the heart spills over into the next. No experience is required.
The workshop is $20 for non-members and $15 for members of Aria. Call 970-476-7400 to register.
