Merry in the Mountains event is Wednesday in Vail
VAIL — The Vail Chamber and Business Association is sponsoring Merry in the Mountains, a locals’ night in Vail on Wednesday.
Merry in the Mountains is a night dedicated to the local community and a way for Vail businesses to thank the local community for their support and patronage. Participating businesses will be offering generous local discounts on merchandise and in restaurants.
Free skating will be offered from 4 to 8 p.m. at both Solaris Plaza and Arrabelle at Vail Square. The Vail Fire Department will be escorting Santa through town on a Vail fire truck.
“As a local business owner, I appreciate the local community who shops and supports my store,” said Laurie O’Connell, owner of Perch in Vail Village. “This is a great way for locals to get their holiday shopping done in a festive atmosphere and at some great prices.”
Shopping discounts are not all that will be offered — select restaurants will be offering discounts on their menus as well. The local community is invited to make a full night of it by visiting Vail for shopping, activities and dining.
Participate in The Longevity Project
The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
Most participating businesses will be offering their promotions all day long, not just from 4 to 8 p.m.
